Storm Clouds Brewing

With one blizzard down and another terrible storm on the horizon, it’s hard for me to take time to write a blog post this week. I know that I can’t do much to prevent another outage, but with almost half the week lost without power, I’m struggling not to be anxious about how long we could be without this time around.
I have tight deadlines to work within, but all that seems to be put on hold for every reason imaginable.

Patience, patience. Grant me patience for what I cannot control.

Focus on the adventures of the past you’ve made it through this far, and the mountains ahead won’t be quite so intimidating.

Artwork

On the accomplished list this week, we had:
Tell Me Tuesday Watercolour

  • Hound in Watercolour
  • Small amount of work on the kitsune fox
  • Julie’s Commission

With the power outage, I’m frustrated when I look back to see how little I was able to accomplish. Running about, or worse, simply sitting in wait for the power to resume was so frustrating.

Art goals for next week: Finish commission work, start on a large watercolour painting. One concept art for Caelis’al.

YouTube Section!

Well, Fantasy Friday has still not happened, and we’re already going onto our third friday of March. That’s incredibly disheartening.

Here’s one YouTube video I was able to upload before we lost power this week.

Exciting New Shiny Things

I guess as a reminder to myself, I’ll include a quote from last week that I hoped to achieve:
I still want to do these things. I wish it didn’t feel like I hit roadblocks so often.
I’m finally going to be releasing more content (I hope!) about my personal world, which finally has an official name: Caelis’al.

Dragons, lions, tigers, and bears (oh my!), unicorns and mermaids galore. All of this and more, in colouring pages to narrate the way.

In the meantime, I’ll be praying that God can use this storm for his glory.

Proverbs 3:3

Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart.
